> My current approach to life is super pessimistic, but I firmly believe in staying grounded in reality no matter how hard that reality may be, and I'd much rather be as realistic as possible than be blindly optimistic about life. Okay, straight talk: If your stutter is "pretty severe" then you need intensive speech therapy now. Unfortunately, these programs aren't cheap and can easily cost a few grand. I attended one with like a 95% success rate and I could give you the name but if you can't get ahold of like 4k and I don't know what to tell you. Your first priority needs to be gaining control of your speech and we'll start from there. I do honestly believe the whole nihilism should go away if you're able to regain control of yourself. I was in a similar position at your age, but I'm a little bit older and I want you to know that stutter can be tamed. If you're of the opinion that there's absolutely, honestly nothing you can do about your severe stutter then just probably learn sign language. There's always that.
