What were your experiences kid to adult? It's become obvious my kid has a stutter, it came and went through jk and grade 1 but it's persisted for the last 6months. Speech therapy isn't helping much or at least it doesn't look like it. I'm really trying to understand what the future holds so I'm wondering what were your experiences like in Elementary through high school? And then later in life getting jobs etc. Is there anything I can teach my kid to help my kid handle this as best as possible through school etc. The stutter seems to be mild to sever but I have no clue how to rate it honestly.
