Why do ppl act like we are dumb all my life ppl act like i’m slow or something just because i stutter, some of my own family and friends have told me they thought i was special ed or something was wrong with me when we first met. people at school babied me, doesn’t help i’m too sensitive and I dress colorful. When i go to the store besides the 2 ones near my house i fear talking because they act like i’m slow, or people behind me in line try to talk for me and guess what I say. My mom always wants me to talk more thinking it will make it better but it doesn’t. Only good thing i’ve gotten when i got pulled out for speech therapy in school during class and i didnt have to do the work, or one time i didn’t have enough money for the bus and they let me on anyway thinking i’m special needs or something.
