I actually work for a defense contractor too and this particular job went straight to an in-person interview LOL For my current role, they offered to do Skype but I chose in-person because I was visiting their city anyway for vacation. Never heard of typing during an interview though. Did you type during an audio or video call? Did you ask for special accomodations?
