Whatever he wants to achieve in life will be naught, you cannot get rid of it. If he REALLY wants to move forward from his stutter, he needs to kill every expectation, imagery, and dream he has of himself, it will only disappoint him, and cause depression. I'm in this process. If you can't win against stuttering, then stop trying...
