If this is a college course, I would suggest you check in with the office of accessibility in your school. Above all else, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. A stutter is considered a disability, and if you have documents to prove it (if you’ve ever gone to a speech therapist - even as a kid- it is easy to acquire this paperwork) you can be exempt from certain requirements in classes. I did this when I was in college. I never had an audio assignment, BUT, I was able to get exempt from reading out loud in class. (That is one of my weaknesses as a person who stutters. I was comfortable speaking in front of the class for assignments, while stuttering a bit, but I really hated reading aloud from a book and I was able to get around the requirement in all of my classes. Both in undergrad and graduate school.) Hope this helps!
