It’s typical of people who stutter to see everything through the lens of their own stuttering. Guys, don’t forget that communication is much more than speaking. It means body language, reading a room, working in teams, writing/responding to emails, writing memos or reports. It does not refer to how “fluent” your speech is. Personally, I would rather have a stutterer with good communication skills (i.e. returns calls, replies to emails in a timely manner, good writer, etc) than a lazy employee that’s 100% fluent. You can stutter and still have strong communication skills!
