Does anyone feel a difference with their speech after weight gain/loss?

Does anyone feel a difference with their speech after weight gain/loss? I was a overweight guy all my life and I am now slowly trying to get in shape. Does anyone feel like weight changes your speech? In high school I weight less than now, and my speech was better then. I don’t know if there is a correlation but let me hear what you guys think or if you have experienced anything related to this topic. Thanks!
