I’m not from India but the best piece of advice I’ve been given is to embrace voluntary stuttering, as tough / weird as that sounds. It gets stuttering out in the open and you then stop trying to avoid stuttering, which makes speech easier. Basically disclosing that you stutter instead of trying to keep it hidden. I went to speech therapy a few years ago and this was the main goal.
