Sudden onset stuttering and learning a foreign language.

Sudden onset stuttering and learning a foreign language. So about 3 weeks ago I developed a stutter. From what I understand for the time being it’s not going away. I am required to take intermediate level foreign language this semester. Life rn is more challenging than normal but my French professor was understanding and I think I can work with her in order to make it through the semester. Im not sure if I’m up to the task though. I’m just curious if anyone else has any experience with this sort of thing and what you’d recommend I do? I’ve not yet contacted the disability office at my university because I’m not even sure what I’d ask them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
