I love your tenacity and agree with you! My dad used to have a stutter when he was a kid. He fixed it by age 9 or 10 with speech therapy. People have fixed their stutters to the point where they have minimal fluency or it is gone completely. I also understand why people on this sub don't believe it's possible. If you haven't known someone who has fixed their stutter, it seems like an impossible thing to even believe. It feels like a mantra I hear in speech therapy, that you can't cure your stutter, only make some improvements on it. In a sense, they're correct. There's not really a pre-packaged, one sized fits all cure for stuttering. Most people who have cured it are willing to think outside the box, try new approaches, get their hands dirty.
