Whilst not my own advice, I'm echoing what people have told me before that can help. Letting your words flow. Do you stutter when alone? Ive heard if you sing a sentence (at home, not in public lol) to yourself that you would normally find hard to say without stuttering then you most likely won't stutter. It's about setting up the sentence so that all the words seemlessly flow. I guess something like: "Yes, I'd like a burrito please." I find that most of the time it's the first word of a sentence that I stammer on. Sometimes getting that out of the way makes it easier if I say something like "erm" or "uhh" or even "well". For some reason it's like a buffer for me and gives me a moment to pace my words. For example, when I ordered food the other day I knew exactly what I wanted, but pretended I wasn't sure and said something like: "uhh I'll get a large meal and a... Regular drink please" giving myself chances to pause that we're natural. Hopefully that made some sense aha. Oh and I also limit my eye contact to what I can handle. That seems to make it easier for me personally.
