Pushing yourself to do the things you're uncomfortable with until they no longer make uncomfortable. Might not work for everyone but for example, I used to have a real problem with ordering at drive throughs. I'd always stutter really bad. But I just made myself do it enough that it no longer makes me anxious. I just used to tell myself. "I'm gonna do it. I might stutter but in 5 minutes time. I'll have done it. I'll have what I wanted and it won't really have mattered that I stuttered." the more I did the less anxious I was about it and the less I stuttered. Now I don't really care about drive throughs and don't stutter more then usual using them.
