This is correct, but it is also much easier for a girl to find a guy than it is for a guy to find a girl regardless of stuttering. Guys have to be proactive in the social/romantic domains (Girls can be too, of course), so what we should be focusing on, as guys who stutter, is building confidence IN SPITE of our stutter. Joking about it is one good way to go, I find.
