I understand what you're saying. I've never spoken with or even come into contact with a female stutterer. I've always stuck to the belief that my stutter is a good barometer of others' character. Especially on a first encounter like a date, or me for my job. You'll find someone who doesn't patronize or pity or mock you and those are the people to keep close. And I know that as much as family has experienced you and your stutter they don't quite understand what it's like. Sorry I can't give you a female perspective.
