Does anyone else write/type what they want to say?

Does anyone else write/type what they want to say? Well, exactly what it says on the tin. But also, those that do have you seen a increase in stuttering tendencies, did you become reliant on it? I started typing/writing a while ago and feel like my stutter has gotten significantly worse (partly due to lack of trying and frustration) and part of me doesn't think it's mere coincidence.
