I just found out I have to do a presentation in french at the end of this semester. My stutter isn't that prevalent but when I do presentations it really tends to come out pretty noticeably. Almost nothing gives me as much anxiety as doing presentations and I avoid them as best as I can. Weirdly enough I was actually decent at doing them in high school and didn't really stutter during them but for some weird reason that completely switched once I got to college and now they give me tremendous anxiety. This fucking one is for my french class. I've taken 3 other french classes in college and none of them included an in-class presentation except this one. I can't do presentations in any other classes without anxiety I don't know how I'm supposed to do this one. I'm afraid of not even getting a word out due to my nerves. I was thinking of going to another prof's office hours and asking them if they'll do the same thing and maybe switch into their section, but I think that would make me feel pretty shitty.
