Yeah, I didn't really put it right though, I was just confused by the author's elevation of himself as the only martyr. No, we all suffer in life in one way or another, it's an obligatory stage of life, some more than others, some less, so it was an unfortunate example. I suppose when a person realizes that no one hears or understands him, he no longer seeks that from others. I'll digress a bit, but it is stuttering, in my opinion, that shapes a person's personality, because it is very rare, and even being in a group, everyone feels excluded from other "normal" people they see directly in person. I really hope that each of us will learn to live with our disability in a way that is comfortable, because, as we humans are known, we adapt to everything in one way or another.
