HI: I also stutter when trying to speak a foreign language (and if really drunk). I think it's because all the mechanisms I've built to control it vanish when I do something as taxing as using a language this is not my native tongue, and I'm not completely fluent in. My difficult letters are M and R and P. But trying to roll rs doesn't make me stutter, I just can't do it to sound like a native.
