I conduct a facebook group with 750 people for the last 2 years and gathering information about their progress after applying my method. Accepting your stutter is the first step. If I stutter and can not express myself satisfactorily, I feel frustration about my speech. It is something, which I can accept, nothing bad about it, if you are desensitive to stuttering. If you feel sorry about that, it means that you didn't accept your stutter and still sensitive about stuttering. Desensitization is also the first step of Van Riper.
