every slp that I have gone to has been useless. they don’t understand the psychology or the mechanics of stuttering. I tried tackling the mechanics with all of them, however, it was evident I knew just as much as them, possibly even more. I wouldn’t mind spending a few seconds disclosing my stutter to people. The thing is, I stutter more on that word than any other so I tend to refrain from using it. I appreciate the advice though.
