Hello- I just found this reddit group... this is my first ever post on reddit. I just want to say that my husband and I subscribed to discovery plus specifically to watch this doc. It was done beautifully. I cried several times. Our 10 year old son has a severe stutter. He's been in speech therapy since he was 5. We have a wonderful private slp who specializes in stuttering, and he also goes to speech twice a week at school. However, his stuttering keeps getting worse, and his blocks make it almost impossible to get a sentence out. It's heartbreaking to see him get increasingly frustrated with it. He is losing his spark and starting to shut down. He is the most wonderful kid, gets all A's, is an amazing athlete, has lots of friends, etc.. Your documentary was exactly what my husband and I needed to see. I loved how you normalized stuttering. We needed to hear that this is going to be something he will deal with for the rest of his life. Instead of trying to help him get rid of his stutter, we need to help him learn to live with it. Camp Say seems amazing, and I've looked into it. Anyway, thank you again for spending so much time in making this. It truly touched us.
