> "I've seen", "I've been", "I've done", the response I've predicted. This is my life, my life works differently than yours Of course you were going to hear "I've been where you are"... Because many of us have. You aren't that special or unique. A lot of people here feel they have this special ownership of stuttering. That nobody else could possibly know what they are going through. Again... BS. The idea of others not viewing you as human is you projecting. IDK exactly what you believe others think of you, but most of it is in your head. Of course, people think you're human. Just as flawed and messed up as the rest of us. Chances are people don't spend all that much time thinking about you. Most people are pretty self-absorbed. > we both know nothing can be done You don't know shit, friend. The same speech therapy that didn't work for me in my teens was how I got fluent in my 20s. Same speech therapy. Same therapist. The difference was me. Just like we grow from 12 to 18, we keep growing from 18 to 25. I'm happy to hear you're in speech therapy. I hope you're putting your all into it and not just going through the motions. you attitude and approach to it are key components. Finally, drop the hate. I carried that hate for a long time. In the end, it just burns you out. It's natural to be angry. But if you don't work through that anger, it's not healthy for you. Hating others doesn't hurt them. It hurts you.
