Probably not. If you don't stutter when you are reading something out loud...then you are not using the "same pathways" when you are talking with someone spontaneously. You are using a different part of your brain...in essence. You should try using different "mind sets" when talking with people...for instance SINGING things you want to say and see if that prevents / reduces stuttering. Singing uses different pathways than just speaking plainly. Maybe try using an outrageous accent from some other country.
