This pisses me off to be honest. I don't really stutter much, but I have a heavy speech impediment that according to some people make me sound "mentally challenged" (or as some not nice people say, "retarded").... I've had to put up with a lot of women who are immature and can't see past a voice. It's a very strong speech impediment so you can't really not notice it. Some people think it's cool and that I am from the UK (when I'm from the south in the US)... These women who think this way aren't good to have around you. It sounds like from how you phrase your post that you're already hurt by her. I wouldn't want my girlfriend to hurt me in this way. I'd pack up and leave if it was me but that's because I've dealt with this issue for the longest time and with a lot of bullying on this problem - so I'm more sensitive to it than other people.
