Im not a stutterer and i dont have any advice for you, but I just wanna ask. WHY THE FUCK WOULD A SCHOOL MAKE THE STUTTERING KID READ? its not 1st grade ffs that the reading itself is graded, and later when something has to be read out loud (say a poem if youre learning about it), imo a volunteer should read it, to not put the Kids with social anxiety, speech impediments or dyslexia into uncomfortable situations. They should only be made to read imo if they themselves volunteer for it.
