Tips and advice So I’m curious as to what you all here think. I’m a 20 year old male college student who works at a grocery store. My manager recently asked me if I would like to be promoted to working at the customer service desk. Which entails plenty of talk face to face AND on the phone. Although I am aware of this, I kinda want to take the position the pay is about $1.25 per hour bump up from what I’m making now. My stutter is mild to moderate at best, but talking over the phone does make it much worse, which I’ll have to do a lot of. I’m not so much afraid about stuttering, but I know I’ll be under plenty time pressure especially over the phone. Just curious as to what you guys think I should do, I’m strongly considering at least trying it out and seeing how it goes.
