Firstly, I think all the steps you're making are incredibly positive and it's impressive you've realized you should do this on your own. I assume your co-workers know that you stutter. They would expect that you stutter on the phone too. That might just be something you need to practice and desensitive, as you remind yourself that it is ok to stutter and you can do your job whether you're more fluent or less fluent. The best way to accept your stuttering is through action in life, not necessarily reading a book.
