Yea I agree, you should try. I personally stopped trying and accepted it, now my mental health is in a much better condition than when I was trying to talk more fluent constantly. Whenever I tried, I made myself even more conditional, that whenever I tried in public to talk more fluent with the techniques and I failed, my day was literally ruined, but now when this happens, I dont feel sad anymore, I even feel happy because I used to be sad in these situations but Im not anymore. Im seeing a pschiatrist and he has taught me how to think this way and he said that after some years that I fully cured my social anxiety due to years and years of feeling bad about stuttering, I can start seeing speech therapists to start over the techniques again, and I think he is very correct.
