I was gonna give TLJ a go anyway, because I liked TFA and wanna see just how badly they fucked up TLJ lol And I mean, 30 seconds in a neutral light is still better than a stuttering character with more screen time cast in a totally negative light, right? IMO, The King’s Speech is probably the “best” piece of media out there right now portraying a stutterer (barring possibly TLJ), because even though the plot attributed George’s stutter to deep-seated psychological issues (which as we know is not true for the majority of stutterers), it was very refreshing to see a stutterer as the main character for once, and since his struggles humanized him it enabled the audience to empathize with him (which arguably is a good thing by making the audience think about how they’d handle encountering a stutterer in real life). The acting in the movie was also very good; I’d still recommend watching it despite my own personal issues with the plot.
