Personally, "just talk" can be an advice that recommends not to avoid speaking situations (at least that's the first thing that came into my mind when I read this). If you have a very severe stutter, of course don't struggle, get hurt and deepen your self-identity as a stutterer BUT try to talk as much as you can in situations where you don't stutter or mildly stutter.
