It is so much better as a stuttering adult than it was a stuttering kid. :) As a general pretext everyone has said great things so I’ll skip them as best as I can. You can view your stutter as a “jerk filter” and from that some of those things from your list become a little bit easier if you let the “filter” do the work. Getting a job is tough for everyone. If someone is going to exclude you from employment from stuttering who is to say that someone isn’t going to pick you because of it? I mean, someone is going to give you a chance. To be fair, sometimes there may be huge stack of papers (or files you get the idea) of applicants and often times what they want isn’t what you got... and they aren’t being entirely clear on what they want from you. A good start though is to just ask around from friends and see who can help you with employment. As far as a roommate goes, you may not need one at all but finding one can be ok. Going to the grocery store is also ok as an adult, stutter-wise that is.
