Health Information Management though, the hospital I work at now is starting to combine us with Revenue Cycle into one department to save on cost and man power. I don’t really mind though since they don’t deal with patients or talking on the phone either haha. We basically shuffle paper all day, input information into the EMR, and correspond with other departments through email or unless they need something they’ll come in and ask us in person. This type of work does tend to be repetitive, never any surprises. However, I like knowing what to expect every day, although I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
