I did! I worked as the front-line IT help desk for my university for 4 years with a moderate-to-severe stutter. One of the best things I ever did for myself. My confidence on the phone and speaking with new people sky-rocketed. I found that over time I developed a very fluent flow on the phone with the usual script, "hello thanks for calling the computer center, this is corby - how can I help you?" and all subsequent typical trouble-shooting steps. Almost never blocked because it was so natural and repetitive. Of course there was always the occasional long silent block that confused people on the other end of the phone, but I would just stop mid-block, say something like "sorry, I've got a stutter, it'll come out soon!" and then go right back into my spiel. Wasn't really a problem. And of course, the face-to-face customers just saw that I was stuttering and waited patiently for me to catch up. Really was a good experience. Send it. Believe in yourself. You got this!
