I agree with OP. I have a terrible stutter, but it is in no way comparable to a missing limb or autism which are actually irreversible. People with Tourette’s are more comparable except that Tourette’s is a clear neurological disorder. Stuttering can be treated and overcome in isolation unlike true “irreversible” ailments.
