I was always down on my stutter until I had a mindset shift: people WANT to hear you speak, YOU have valuable input and deserve to be heard, and if anyone laughs or judges then they’re the beta. This mindset gave me a new lease on confidence socializing. Easier said than done, but stuttering is as much psychological as it is physical, and learning to adopt a new mindset got me a long way.
