I noticed that too and I tried to figure out a way to "forgot" about my stuttering. It doesn't work that way. Instead the way I stopped thinking about it was by making stuttering no longer be a big deal. The way to do that was to learn it was ok to stutter and become comfortable with it. Now for the most part, I generally don't think before I speak and let the stutters happen where they may. I couldn't do it alone however. This is where finding a *great* speech therapist was essential. I needed someone who first and foremost, understand the above. And the second, knew how to help me achieve it. It took a long time and a lot of work, but if you do the work, do what you fear and work on acceptance, you'll get there.
