I struggle with my name, my husbands name, and our last name. It's definitely a real struggle. I hate chit chat, and I hate meeting new people all because of this. My hubby is a sweetheart and usually does the talking for us (which I know isn't healthy for stutters to do), but if I am on my own I am screwed and frustrated to the point of tears. ​ I get it!! I wish I had some advice for you. Try not to avoid it, that seems to always make it worse.
