I have always been an over achiever and very critical about my own perceived flaws. I think I just need to remember that I am relatively smart af (or atleast academically) and my speech doesn't define me. I never actually looked at stuttering as a disability. Didn't even know it was. Always thought of it as some kind of neurological impediment which had no cure. But I am what I am DESPITE IT. I vow to be kinder to myself. We deserve happiness.
