Small success but big confidence boost I'm 27 and I have a situationally moderately-severe stutter. This past Wednesday, on the fourth of July, my little brother got married and I was the best man. When it came time for the toasts, I did better than I expected and received quite a few compliments. I did not write it down, did not have notes, but I had been going over the overall concept and outline of what I wanted to say over the course of the day. It is just a little victory but it really made me feel good and helped boost my confidence for sure. Just putting it out there that while I may get hung up on from ordering pizza over the phone from time to time, when push comes to shove I can make a toast in front of a hundred people and you can too!!
