I've come to find that it's best to tell whoever you're with about said stutter from the get go, that way you both know what it is when it happens, and if it happens to me I usually just try to laugh it off - maybe even stop and just take a moment to collect my thoughts. I've never had anyone have a problem with this, but I can't speak for everyone. (Sorry it's not much. I've never had advice from anybody about it :\)
