There is quite a bit of research on stuttering. Google is a great resource! I attended the 2024 World Conference for Stuttering and Cluttering and there were some amazing scientists and researchers presenting. Good stuff is out there! It is obviously not mainstream because stuttering is a fairly niche disorder compared to others.
