Do you think stuttering is a disability? Hello everyone! I have a question for you. Do you think stuttering is a disability? When filling out job applications for the voluntary self identification of disability, what do you select? Although my stuttering can be quite severe at times and I was on a 504 plan in high school/ college I do not consider myself as having a disability. And so I select “No, I don’t have a disability, or a record of having a disability.” But, technically I have a record of having a disability (the 504 plan). While the list of disabilities is extensive, stuttering isn’t even on this list of disabilities. So I’m curious to know what do you guys select.
