Same 5 years with my gf, probably 8 months of dating before she truly caught on, even then she’s like “I notice sometimes but I stutter too!” Hers is more just tripped up talking to fast mines a true childhood stutter. Either way, I still am wayyy more emphasis on paying attention on when I stutter than she ever has. I now stutter when telling my phone number.. 7’s are hard, but the gf likes it, keeps me from handing it out all the time! Best of luck!
