Meeting other people who stutter

Meeting other people who stutter I’m a senior in high school about to head to college and i’ve NEVER met another person who stutters. i don’t see it in person, in the media, anywhere, and it makes me feel kinda alone when it comes to the topic. is that just me? does it help to meet other people who stutter ?
