If you're still adhering to this "training", it's most likely not going to do you any favors. I wonder which kind of speech therapist you went to back then. There's a complication when dealing with therapy for very young people, in that they might not be able to understand and/or implement what's being put before them, so maybe that explains it. At any rate, you should consider seeing a speech therapist again - and get some much more detailed advice this time around. Stutter is known to vary a lot, and perhaps you're just experiencing this variation over time. There definitely seems to be common stuttering traits in what you describe, and common "pitfalls" as well.
