My stutter isn’t too serious, but it really hinders my ability to fire back answers, deliver punchlines or start conversations, so I mostly just stay quiet. As far I can tell no one at work knows I stutter, they just think I’m a bit quiet and reserved. I hate that it can affect work life for the worst just because some managers/coworkers/customers can’t respect it. It really sucks, especially for those with particularly noticeable stutter. I wish you all the best.
