Self-disclosure is confidence building, at least for me, so long as it's stated in a matter-of-fact way and I'm not apologetic. [The Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/soloish/wp/2017/01/23/how-stuttering-improves-my-dating-life/) has a great article about dating with a stutter from 2017 where the author points out that a stutter is a jerk filter. If this is someone that you're interested in and disclosing your stutter is a deal-breaker, it probably wasn't going to work out. If this is more of a looking to get laid deal, dunno what to say. I'm totally not qualified to give advice on hooking up.
