I’m an RN as well! Charge as well! Yes I stutter… sometimes it’s nonexistent, sometimes it minimal, sometimes its severe. Yes people can be jerks but I just give them a deadpan stare if they chuckle or make a comment then clear my throat- the look, throat clearing and dead silence usually takes them out. Then I resume. I won’t lie and say sometimes I want to crawl up in a ball and cry about it but we all have loads to carry and that is one of mine 🤷‍♀️
