Thank you for your kind words ( they mean much more than the words I typed for me at this stage ) Yes , that is the large part I struggle with i.e. having a pity on myself that I have to let go of so many opportunities due to lack of attentiveness and awareness towards speech impediments and its constituents thus it sometimes outgrows who I am . Since Childhood afaik and remember I have always been known for my 'stutter' and 'social awkwardness' and not for who I am or who I was at that point of time. I also think it's shameful that some Educational Institutions still believe that interview is the best way to test a candidate trade's skills even though they aren't the best at speaking and Economics is not a subject that is largely front-end thus no need to learn about 'Advanced Business Communication' , why not an entrance test ? I know about a handful of other people just like me who had to face this issue and how they had to eventually move out of this country so that they won't be discriminated against for who they are and over things they potentially have no control over . I think most of us here in The Indian Subcontinent at least don't want pity but rather just general accommodative structure towards people with speech problems they have developed from childhood to teenage to now early adulthood , but most often we come across a normal sort of people - On the one side of The Normal Distribution is those who don't know about this problem due to lack of exposure - the other extreme believes that it is exaggerated and not a disability and the third at the middle of the normal distribution where the Mean ( Mu ) tends to be zero has those who have pity on us . I would much rather accept the two extremes than the middle but life is the way it is . Anyways thanks for your comment and I will definitely look forward to change my perspective and bookmark this comment so that I have something to remember at every instance I fail to get into or Crack something because of this speech impediment .
